kot2 ada yang tak tahu lagi kan, imam muda is a new reality show yang disiarkan di Astro (???) - i tengok youtube je. search for imam muda, confirm keluar punya. so far dah 4th week. and i'm following the show every single week.
kalau selama ni kita asyik bising menyuarakan terlalu banyak reality show yang entertainment based, so nampaknya people are finally providing the alternatives. for me, i benefit a lot from the show, especially from trivia questions yang dia bagi every week. personally, it's a very good effort to familiarize people with Islam. basic stuff macam tu. other than that, of course u'll benefit a lot kalau menonton secara kritis.
the thing is that, orang kita memang suka benda-benda yang drama. so, maybe attaching knowledge to something like this have better effect to the community. not that healthy, but for the sake of delivering the knowledge, it's definitely a good start.
kalau dekat kampung i dulu, imam muda ni merujuk kepada imam tahfiz yang surau jemput jadi imam solat terawih sepanjang ramadhan. i think orang yang paling perlu tengok show imam muda ni adalah imam-imam sedia ada??? sebab it proves that, jadi imam is not just about leading a prayer session. an imam should be an all-rounder tau. someone people can look up to, someone reliable. then kita boleh keluar dari kepompong yang agama itu is just about solat,puasa, haji. it's a lot more than that. semua orang pun tahu, saja nak mention lagi. haha.
tapi. i think there's too much unnecessary drama pulak bila ada adegan menangis2 ni. haiz.
